Search Engine Optimization Data Form
I’m currently in the process of updating all of my clients’ sites using SEO and I need your input to best accomplish this. If you are a current VanWyk Tech client, please use the SEO form below to send the three items that I need to optimize your site:
- A title phrase which will appear in the title bar of all of your website pages. The site title is the most important piece of submission information. Use your URL, or company name and 3-4 important keywords. You're allowed from 10 and 150 characters in length. For example - "True Value Hardware - tools, garden supplies, rentals.
- A set of keywords which will be in your head tags section. Use between 50-250 characters, counting spaces. Include your URL as the first keyword. These would be the words that you would expect people to use who are searching for your site. For example - (in the case of True Value Hardware) "www.truevalue.com, hardware, tools, garden supplies, home improvement, paint, rentals, etc.
- A brief description of your website. Use a descriptive sentence or paragraph that is also present in the content of your page. Use up to 200 characters. This would be a longer version of your title and it should use your most important keywords. For example - (in the case of True Value Hardware) “True Value Hardware offers quality products for maintaining your home including tools, lawn and garden supplies, home improvement items, paint, equipment rentals, and more.”
Once you’ve submitted your information, work will begin using the SEO Tool suite on your site. It will require two to three months for the major search engine webcrawlers to gather the new data and index it, so results will not be immediate. Please email me or call if you have any questions.
